Kris Corbett

Kris is an outdoor enthusiast, triathlete, event planner, and a true adventurist at heart! Right after college she headed to Colorado to follow her dreams of working at a ski resort, and continued to fall in love with anything and everything outdoors: hiking, biking, skiing, ice climbing—you name it she tried it!

In 2002, she put everything she owned in storage and hit the road, spending the next 12 years traveling the world while caddying on the Nationwide Tour/PGA Tour, and being the Tour Director for the APT Men’s Golf Tour. Her weeks off were spent exploring and finding adventures anywhere she could, including rock climbing in Rio, surfing in Chili, scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef, and backpacking in New Zealand.

She also enjoys trail running and competing in triathlons, finishing 6 Ironman Triathlons, 2 Extreme Triathlons, and a Double Ironman so far! She absolutely loves the water and never misses a chance for a swim, including once completing a 10-mile swim race.

Recently, she has realized her love of organizing adventures for others after planning trips to Alaska, Iceland, Montana, and Tahiti for groups of friends. Some of these friends then introduced her to Diane with Fit 4 Adventure and now she is excited to be planning and guiding trips as part of the F4A team.

In 2018, she married David Corbett, a 5th generation rancher and she now lives on a working cattle ranch in Texas. She enjoys being a loving dog mom to Divot, a 6 year old Vizsla. She manages the local pool and teaches swim lessons during the summer and is both a lifeguard instructor and certified CPR instructor. While she is a little more settled now, she never misses the chance to travel and never says no to an adventure!
