Dustin Jones

Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Dustin’s love for the outdoors began as a teen when he discovered snowboarding, becoming an instructor to support his passion. He soon followed the snowmelt downstream to the river, discovering whitewater rafting and sparking his career as a guide. Since then, Dustin has moved out past the Rockies to lead countless excursions across the U.S. and internationally, guiding adventurers through National Parks, down rivers, and in remote backcountry areas.

As a steward of the outdoors, Dustin is committed to conservation and sustainable tourism, creating educational experiences that inspire responsible recreation. Whether on the river, in the mountains, or on the trails, guiding gives Dustin the opportunity to share the beauty and thrill of the wilderness, connecting others with nature and uncovering a life-long appreciation for its wonders.

Certified as a Wilderness First Responder, ACA Whitewater Kayak Instructor, PADI Rescue Diver, and Snowboard Instructor, Dustin brings his expertise and excitement to every adventure. When not guiding, he can be found cooking up his own next great expedition- no matter the activity.
