In the heart of the Alps, Chamonix, France is a very special place. It is an incredibly beautiful, historic town, situated right at the foot of the towering Mont Blanc. Chamonix is widely considered the birthplace of mountaineering; it also hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924. It has grown to become one of the world's most popular adventure hubs and has long been one of Europe's most popular ski holiday destinations.

We’ve been running group ski trips since 2010- this is our first international destination! We picked Chamonix because we know- the ski areas in the Chamonix Valley are WORLD-FAMOUS for a reason... Towering peaks, pristine powder, tons of skiable acreage and plenty of spots to stop off for a hot chocolate, coffee, or a foam-topped beer from the Brasserie du Mont Blanc... Skiing the French Alps is an incredible experience- come join us for an awesome week in the snow!

THE CHALET

Nothing beats having your own PRIVATE ski chalet, and we've picked out a great one- our comfy and relaxing oasis, located right in the action in Chamonix!

Set in its own grounds with ample private space, its sunny, southerly facing orientation gives magnificent views of the Mont Blanc massif, the Aiguille du Midi and Mont Blanc itself. 5 en-suite bedrooms provide privacy for all guests, while the plentiful common area, outdoor terrace and hot tub patio offer generous communal space.

We'll have group breakfasts in the morning and hearty, family-style dinners after a great day on the slopes.

Evenings at the chalet are spent chatting around the dinner table, relaxing at the fireplace or in the hot tub, or entertaining ourselves with movies and games. For those who want to hit the town, it’s a short ride or easy walk into Chamonix's town centre, where cafes, bars, clubs and a bumping nightlife await...

This trip will be a similar itinerary to our domestic ski trips, but with a French flair... Skiing is on your own, meaning you ski your way- solo, or in small groups of similarly skilled skiers. (Snowboarders are welcome, too!)

If you want a day off from the slopes, activities include wandering through town, shopping at the boutiques, relaxing at a day spa, snowshoeing, paragliding, ice skating- the options are endless! Or, take the cable car up to the spectacular Aiguille du Midi for breathtaking views of Chamonix, Mont Blanc and the Chamonix Valley. It is a mind-blowing ride to the very peaks of the Alps!

Of course, there will be a F4A host, helping to organize group meals and activities, along with a private van for helping you get around. We've taken care of everything- all you have to do is show up and SKI!

(Not included: flights, rental equipment, optional activities, single occupancy in double room, meals away from the chalet, tips for staff or drivers, personal expenses- souvenirs, alcohol, etc.)

Join the F4A Ski Club!

The F4A Ski Club offers new and unique experiences for our skiers and snowboarders.

Like any good ski club, we offer value-priced trips to popular ski resorts. We’re gearing these towards skiers and snowboarders who want to spend more time on the mountain and less time spending money. What we get is a fun, unpretentious group of people you will love hanging around with, on and off the slopes. There will be a F4A host on every trip to help coordinate meals, shuttles and club activities. Join the club and get updates on our annual F4A Ski Trips!

FLIGHTS & TRAVEL

You are responsible for booking your own flight to Geneva (GVA).

Arrivals: Noting flights from the US to Europe are typically overnight, please plan to be on the ground in Geneva (GVA) by NOON on January 31 (meaning you will be booking your departure for January 30th, if not earlier). We will have private shuttles to transport the group from GVA to our ski chalet in Chamonix (drive time approx. 1.5 hrs).

Departures: Please plan your departure no earlier than NOON on February 7. We will have private shuttles take the group from the chalet back to GVA (drive time approx. 1.5 hrs.), and want to ensure everyone has time to finish packing up and have a leisurely breakfast before departing the chalet at 8:30am.

DEPOSIT

A $500 deposit (per person) is due at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable.

PAYMENTS

Final payment will be due December 1, 2025. You will receive a reminder email when this payment is due. Once made, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

CANCELLATIONS

By Client: If you need to cancel before the trip, the cancellation fee is your initial deposit plus any additional payments made. Any payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your reservation will automatically cancel if final payment is not received by the due date. Travel Insurance is highly recommended (see below).

By Fit 4 Adventure: In the event that we must cancel a trip for commercial reasons beyond our control, including if the minimum number of trip participants is not met, you will be able to transfer any amount paid toward any F4A trip in the next 24 months. You may also opt for a full refund. 

By Force Majeure: In the event that a trip is cancelled due (but not limited) to natural disasters, pandemics, border restrictions, terrorism, or political instability, F4A will offer you a future trip credit valid for 24 months from the original trip date. 

F4A is not responsible for any additional expenses you may incur as result of your booking, including (but not limited to) visas, vaccinations, clothing, equipment, testing, travel insurance, or non-refundable flights. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

The cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. To avoid loss of payments due to unforeseen circumstances, travel insurance is highly recommended.  Please consider booking through our partners Allianz Travel or World Nomads. Alternatively, travel insurance can often be purchased along with your flight.
