Introducing the 2024 F4A Scuba Adventure to GRENADA!
TRIP DATES: November 2-9, 2024
Tucked away in the South Caribbean, Grenada is one of the best kept secrets in the Dive World. Known as 'The Spice of the Caribbean', it is a picturesque tropical wonderland, free from the towering hotels and intrusive tourism found in other parts of the Caribbean. Turquoise waters contrast with white and black sand beaches; vibrant colors and a rich culture provide a feast for the senses; a tour around the island reveals cascading waterfalls, lush rainforests and a plethora of birds and other wildlife. Grenada has a rich history and retains much of its colonial charm, from the historical architecture to the customs and traditions of its friendly and engaging people. It is, in a word, paradise.
Oh yeah- the diving?

It turns out, being off-the-beaten-track has its benefits... Due to its location, Grenada's dive sites are PRISTINE and FLOURISHING. Endless coral reefs, awesome shipwrecks, a unique underwater Sculpture Park- all these and more await beneath the azure waters of Grenada.
We're partnering with Aquanauts Grenada for this incredible Scuba Adventure- they know the island and surrounding reefs, wrecks and other attractions inside and out.
The trip includes 6 dives- but- you can add more if you want! (Additional dives- $60/ea.) Not scuba-certified? No worries! You can do your scuba certification course on-site- ask us for details!
Not interested in diving, PERIOD? No problem! There are snorkeling options at select dive sites, along with PLENTY of other options that don't involve being 'under the sea'... Island tours, waterfall hikes, local markets, island boutiques... Oh yeah- and THE BEACH! Our resort has free beach shuttles twice daily! Grenada IS an island in the Caribbean, after all... Come enjoy the sun, surf and sand!
We'll be staying at the True Blue Bay Resort- a family-owned and operated boutique eco-resort, right on the water. Nestled on Grenada's south coast, the resort provides a Caribbean-chic ambience with a relaxed tropical vibe. Enjoy the unspoiled beauty of Grenada and the Caribbean in an environmentally-conscious boutique resort dedicated to sustainability and regenerative practices. Immerse yourself in nature, attend morning or evening yoga sessions in the open air studio (2 FREE session included in trip!), lay by the pool, visit the bar, stop by the Aquanauts Dive Shop (located on-site) or just relax in your climate-smart room. True Blue Bay Resort is perfectly constructed, situated and oriented for this awesome Scuba Adventure in Grenada!
Of course, we'll throw in a few adventures above the waves as well- an island tour with a local guide, jungle hikes to remote waterfalls, visits to street markets, local shops and island boutiques... There's no telling what all we'll get up to in Grenada! Come along for the adventure and see for yourself!
TRIP PRICE
Diver: $4395/person, double occupancy
Diver: $4995/person, single occupancy
Non-diver: $4150/person, double occupancy
Non-diver: $4750/person, single occupancy
(Note: Due to how the resort charges for accommodation, if you are not signing up with a roommate, you will need to sign up as Single Occupancy.)
(Not included: Flights, additional dives ($60/dive), dive gear rental ($25/day for full kit), add-on excursions, meals not mentioned above, tips for F4A Guides, personal expenses (souvenirs, alcohol, etc.).
FLIGHTS
You are responsible for booking your flight to/from Grenada (Maurice Bishop International Airport: GND). There are direct flights from the US via Miami (MIA) and Charlotte (CLT). Depending on your point of origin, most travel can be completed on the same day, both for arrivals and departures.
Arrival Day (November 2): We will have a Resort Orientation and a Welcome Dinner on Arrival Day- please try to arrive by mid/late afternoon so you can take part in our Welcome Celebration.
Departure Day (November 9): Feel free to book your departing flight at your convenience- the resort will provide transportation to the airport.
DEPOSIT
A $500 deposit (per person) is due at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
PAYMENTS
The first payment (50% of remaining balance) will be due July 1, 2024. Final payment will be due September 1, 2024. You will receive a reminder email when these payment are due. Once made, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
CANCELLATIONS
By Client: If you need to cancel before the trip, the cancellation fee is your initial deposit plus any additional payments made. Any payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your reservation will automatically cancel if final payment is not received by the due date. Travel Insurance is highly recommended (see below).
By Fit 4 Adventure: In the event that we must cancel a trip for commercial reasons beyond our control, including if the minimum number of trip participants is not met, you will be able to transfer any amount paid toward any F4A trip in the next 24 months. You may also opt for a full refund.
By Force Majeure: In the event that a trip is cancelled due (but not limited) to natural disasters, pandemics, border restrictions, terrorism, or political instability, F4A will offer you a future trip credit valid for 24 months from the original trip date.
F4A is not responsible for any additional expenses you may incur as result of your booking, including (but not limited to) visas, vaccinations, clothing, equipment, travel insurance or non-refundable flights.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
The cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. To avoid loss of payments due to unforeseen circumstances, travel insurance is highly recommended. We recommend booking through our partners Allianz Travel or World Nomads. Alternatively, travel insurance can often be purchased along with your flight.
ADDITIONAL DIVE INSURANCE
As this is a dive trip, supplemental Dive Insurance is also recommended. World Nomads does have dive coverage on their Explorer Plan (up to 165 ft.). The Divers Alert Network (DAN) also has comprehensive dive insurance packages- compare plans and select what best fits your needs/budget.

DAY 1- Arrival Day
Welcome to the Caribbean oasis of GRENADA!
Upon arrival at the Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND), you will be met by a Fit 4 Adventure guide and shuttled to our resort. Take some time to settle in and relax! Once the group is assembled, we’ll have a brief resort orientation before gathering in the dining area for our Welcome Dinner… Dinner is on us- Welcome to Grenada!
DAY 2- Dive Day (2 Morning Dives)
Grenada is world-renowned for its colorful coral reefs, spectacular wreck dives and incredible dive sites- there’s even an underwater sculpture park! Our friends at Aquanauts Grenada know all the best spots and will make sure we get to experience the very BEST of what lies beneath the crystal clear waters off the coast of the island.
After breakfast at the resort (included in trip price), we’ll visit 2 dives sites in the morning, led by certified dive masters and instructors. Schools of fish, sea turtles, coral reefs and more await, just below the surface…
Not a diver? No worries! At select dive sites, you can ride along on the dive boat and hop in to go snorkeling. It’s sure to be a beautiful day on the waters of Grenada!
After the dives, we’ll return to the resort, where a full lunch buffet will be waiting.
After lunch, we’ll enjoy some down time to rest and relax. Feel free to wander the grounds of the resort, lie by the pool, take a nap, or explore further afield…
Dinner tonight is DIY- there is a restaurant at the resort or several options within walking distance. For those interested in exploring, we’ll gather together before heading out to find dinner.
DAY 3- Dive Day (2 Morning Dives)
Similar schedule to Day 2- After breakfast, we’ll head out with Aquanauts Grenada to new dive sites to explore more of the wonders of Grenada. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch back at the resort.
That evening, we’ll gather for a Welcome Cocktail Party, hosted by our resort. We’ll recount the day’s diving adventures and spend fun times with resort and dive shop staff.
Dinner is DIY- for those interested, we’ll venture out to a local brewery which hosts a Jam Night on Mondays from 7-9pm. No, you don’t HAVE to participate, but it is HIGHLY encouraged…
DAY 4- Dive Day (2 Morning Dives), optional Night Dive*
Rinse and repeat! (This IS primarily a Dive Trip, after all…)
After breakfast, we’ll venture out for our morning dives, excited to see what else we can discover in the turquoise waters of Grenada.
That evening, Aquanauts Grenada will offer an optional Night Dive excursion. For those brave enough to explore the darkness of the depths, night dives are a unique and exhilarating experience! Dive alongside seasoned veterans as they show you the wonders of the underwater world- at night…
Dinner is DIY- we’ll provide a few recommendations for options near the resort.

DAY 5- Island Tour Day
Today is a day for exploring Grenada, ABOVE the water! After breakfast at the resort, we’ll be shuttled around the island by a local guide, taking in the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of this beautiful Caribbean country. Local markets, colonial towns, rum distilleries and chocolate factories- just a few of the many things we’ll experience on our private island tour. Lunch is included in our tour- our guide has a special spot picked out…
That evening, we’ll get a taste of Grenada at the weekly Street Food Night, hosted by our resort. Dinner is DIY- pick and choose whatever suits your fancy (and whets your appetite)- there will be plenty of delicious options to choose from, that is for sure!
DAY 6- Free Day
Now that you’ve had a chance to explore the island, today is YOUR day to choose your own adventure in Grenada! After a leisurely breakfast, feel free to do as you see fit- book more dives through Aquanauts, relax at the resort, hop in a taxi and head into town… The day is wide open- take advantage and have some fun!
An additional option- consider a uniquely-Grenadian experience with Farm-2-Table Vybrationz*. This is a full day experience- a farm tour featuring natural drinks, fresh spring water and local fruits. During the tour, you’ll harvest home-grown ingredients and cook a typical Grenadian meal together.
Lunch and dinner on the Free Day are DIY.

DAY 7- Waterfall Hike, Sunset Cruise, Farewell Dinner
Our final day on the island calls for more ADVENTURE! We’ll team up with another local guide to explore some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Grenada- along with a few other surprises along the way… Lunch is included in our tour.
We’ll swing by the resort so people can freshen up before finishing the day with a sunset cruise and our Farewell Dinner at a local seaside restaurant. We’ll raise a toast to the Island Life and recount all the shared experiences of a wonderful week in Grenada! Dinner is on us- thanks for joining us for an awesome trip in the Caribbean!
DAY 8- Departure Day
Enjoy our breakfast buffet at your leisure- the resort will provide transportation to the airport for home-bound departures. We’ll be sad to see you go, but grateful that you joined us for an incredible trip on the Caribbean oasis of Grenada! Safe travels!
