Our 2024 dive trip was a huge success, so, we're bringing it back!

We've hand-picked another EPIC Caribbean destination for 2026- the beautiful island of Curaçao!

TRIP DATES: January 4-10, 2026

Tucked away in the SOUTH South Caribbean, Curaçao is a sepctacular island paradise. Known for its beautiful beaches, rich culture, colorful architecture and world-class diving, it is a picturesque wonderland, free from the towering hotels and intrusive tourism found in other parts of the Caribbean. Turquoise waters contrast with white sand beaches; vibrant colors and a rich culture provide a feast for the senses; a tour around the island reveals beautiful views, lush rainforests and a plethora of birds and other wildlife. Curaçao has a relaxing vibe and an eye for adventure- equal parts 'chill' and 'thrill', it's an ideal destination for an 'active vacation'. It is, in a word, paradise.

While on this incredible island, we'll be styaing at the LionsDive Beach Resort and Spa. Just minutes away from the picturesque Dutch colonial city of Willemstad, LionsDive is located on the longest white beach of Curaçao, right next to Mambo Beach and the well-known Bapor Kibra strip. LionsDive sits on an idyllic, palm-studded private beach that overlooks Curaçao's famously clear waters and the fringing reef of Curaçao's National Underwater Park. LionsDive's superb location makes it a perfect launch point for discovering some of the Caribbean's best kept secrets- both on land, and underwater! This, combined with the personal touch of their staff, will give you a welcoming Caribbean experience!

Rooms at LionsDive are surrounded by beautiful gardens; the turquoise water's edge invites one for a swim in the calm private cove. Choose between relaxing by the private, shaded beaches, dine or have a drink at one of 4 on-site restaurants or enjoy a swim in the 50-meter Olympic-sized swimming pool.

The staff's warm Caribbean hospitality will make sure that all needs are met during our stay. Enjoy a diving excursion to explore Curaçao’s natural reefs teaming with colorful sea life or take an energy-packed fitness class on the beach while taking in the glow of sunrise.

It turns out, being off-the-beaten-path has its benefits... Due to its location, Curaçao's dive sites are PRISTINE and FLOURISHING. Beautiful coral reefs, awesome shipwrecks, plentiful shore diving- Curaçao is a diver's paradise!

We're partnering with Ocean Encounters- LionsDive's on-site Dive Shop- for this incredible Scuba Adventure- they know the island, surrounding reefs, wrecks and other attractions inside and out.

The trip includes 6 dives- but- you can add more if you want! (See add-on packages below.) Not scuba-certified? No worries! You can do your scuba certification course on-site- ask us for details!

Not interested in diving, PERIOD? No problem! We have a non-diver package (see below). There are snorkeling options at select dive sites, along with PLENTY of other options that don't involve being 'under the sea'... Island tours, ATV excursions, local markets, island boutiques... Oh yeah- and THE BEACH! Our resort has a private beach on-site, and is located along the longest beach in all of Curaçao- come enjoy the sun, surf and sand!

(Note: Due to how the resort charges for accommodation, if you are not signing up with a roommate, you will need to sign up as Single Occupancy.)

Not included: Flights, additional dives, dive gear rental, add-on excursions, meals not included in trip package, tips for F4A Guides, personal expenses (souvenirs, alcohol, etc.).

‍FLIGHTS

‍You are responsible for booking your flight to/from Curaçao (Curaçao International Airport: CUR). There are direct flights from the US via Miami, Newark, New York (JFK), Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale and Charlotte. Depending on your point of origin, most travel can be completed on the same day, both for arrivals and departures.

Arrival Day (January 11): We will have a Resort Orientation and a Welcome Dinner on Arrival Day- please try to arrive by mid/late afternoon so you can take part in our Welcome Celebration.

Departure Day (January 17): Feel free to book your departing flight at your convenience- the resort will provide transportation to the airport.

‍DEPOSIT

A $500 deposit (per person) is due at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable.

PAYMENTS

The first payment (50% of remaining balance) will be due September 1, 2025. Final payment will be due November 1, 2025. You will receive a reminder email when these payment are due. Once made, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

CANCELLATIONS

By Client: If you need to cancel before the trip, the cancellation fee is your initial deposit plus any additional payments made. Any payments made are non-refundable and non-transferable. Your reservation will automatically cancel if final payment is not received by the due date. Travel Insurance is highly recommended (see below).

By Fit 4 Adventure: In the event that we must cancel a trip for commercial reasons beyond our control, including if the minimum number of trip participants is not met, you will be able to transfer any amount paid toward any F4A trip in the next 24 months. You may also opt for a full refund. 

By Force Majeure: In the event that a trip is cancelled due (but not limited) to natural disasters, pandemics, border restrictions, terrorism, or political instability, F4A will offer you a future trip credit valid for 24 months from the original trip date. 

F4A is not responsible for any additional expenses you may incur as result of your booking, including (but not limited to) visas, vaccinations, clothing, equipment, travel insurance or non-refundable flights. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

The cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. To avoid loss of payments due to unforeseen circumstances, travel insurance is highly recommended.  Please consider booking through our partners Allianz Travel or World Nomads. Alternatively, travel insurance can often be purchased along with your flight.

ADDITIONAL DIVE INSURANCE

As this is a dive trip, supplemental Dive Insurance is also recommended. World Nomads does have dive coverage on their Explorer Plan (up to 165 ft.). The Divers Alert Network (DAN) also has comprehensive dive insurance packages- compare plans and select what best fits your needs/budget.

DAILY ITINERARY

‍

Day 1 (Jan. 4): Arrival Day/Welcome Dinner

Upon arrival in Curaçao, you will be met by a shuttle to transport you to the LionsDive Beach Resort & Spa- our home base for the week. Take time to settle in and refresh after the journey- we will gather for a Resort Orientation and Welcome Dinner that evening. Dinner is on us as we celebrate our arrival in paradise- Welcome to Curaçao!

‍Day 2 (Jan. 5): Dive Day (2 Morning Dives)

Curaçao is world-renowned for its colorful coral reefs, spectacular wreck dives and incredible dive sites. Our friends at Ocean Encounters- LionsDive's on-site dive shop- know all the best spots and will make sure we get to experience the very BEST of what lies beneath the crystal clear waters off the coast of the island.

After breakfast at the resort (included in trip price), we’ll visit 2 dives sites in the morning, led by certified dive masters and instructors. Schools of fish, sea turtles, coral reefs and more await just below the surface…

Not a diver? No worries! At select dive sites, you can ride along on the dive boat and hop in to go snorkeling. It’s sure to be a beautiful day on the waters of Curaçao!

After the dives, we’ll return to the resort, where lunch will be waiting.

After lunch, we’ll enjoy some down time to rest and relax. Feel free to wander the grounds of the resort, lie by the pool, take a nap, or explore further afield…

Dinner tonight is DIY- there are 4 restaurants at the resort and several options within walking distance. For those interested in exploring, we’ll gather together before heading out to find dinner.

Day 3 (Jan. 6): Dive Day (2 Morning Dives)

Similar schedule to Day 2- After breakfast, we’ll head out with Ocean Encounters to new dive sites to explore more of the wonders of Curaçao. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy lunch back at the resort.

That evening, we’ll gather for Happy Hour to recount the day’s diving adventures before heading out to find dinner.

Dinner is DIY- for those interested, we may venture out to find a local brewery or a fun spot off the resort grounds.

Day 4 (Jan. 7): Dive Day (2 Morning Dives)

Rinse and repeat! (This IS primarily a Dive Trip, after all…)

After breakfast, we’ll venture out for our morning dives, excited to see what else we can discover in the turquoise waters of Curaçao.

Dinner is DIY- we’ll provide a few recommendations for options near the resort.

Day 5 (Jan. 8): City Tour and ATV Excursion

Today, we'll take a break from the saltwater and get a chance to explore the beautiful island of Curaçao! After breakfast at the resort, we'll head into town for a walking tour of the Dutch colonial city of Willemstad- the capital of Curaçao. There is much to see and learn about the storied history of this special island. We'll find lunch in town along the way (lunch is DIY). After the walking tour, we'll hop onto 4x4s for an exciting ATV excursion that will take us off the beaten path and allow us to explore more of what makes Curaçao such a beautiful place.

Back at the resort, dinner is DIY- we'll find a spot at LionsDive or make our way off-site to find dinner.

Day 6 (Jan. 9): Free Day/Celebration Dinner

Today is a day to choose your own adventure in Curaçao! After breakfast, feel free to do as you see fit- book more dives through Ocean Encounters, relax at the resort, hop in a taxi and head out to explore more of the island… The day is wide open- take advantage and have some fun!

(Note: If you'd like to add more dives on Friday, check your departure time on Saturday to ensure you have at least 24 hours between the completion of your dives on Friday and your flight departure on Saturday!)

Lunch on the Free Day is DIY- take advantage to grab that bite you've been craving all week!

In the evening, we'll gather for a stunning sunset sail before returning to the resort for our group Celebration Dinner. We'll raise a toast to the week's adventures- both above and under the sea- and enjoy the friendship and camaraderie with our fellow group members. Dinner is on us- Cheers to an awesome week in Curaçao!

Day 7 (Jan. 10): Departure Day

Enjoy breakfast at your leisure- the resort will provide transportation to the airport for home-bound departures. We’ll be sad to see you go, but grateful that you joined us for an incredible trip on the Caribbean oasis of Curaçao! Thank you and safe travels!
