Through re-finding our balance and harmony with the help of nature.

Explore the mind and body through this unique yoga and hiking retreat in the cinematic landscapes of Zion National Park in the Fall. This 6 day/5 night retreat offers a mix of yin and yang with epic hikes, restorative yoga, calming meditations, and more.  

On this trip, you will explore deep and colorful canyons and breathtaking viewpoints like no other.  

PRICE

Listed prices are per person.

$1,834 – double occupancy

$2,653 – single occupancy

Note: There is a $125 per person premium for the king master suite (see pics below).

LODGING

Our home while in Utah is a fabulous, privately owned house. It sits in a secluded area, on the east side of Zion National Park, and rests at 6500 feet elevation, nestled amongst Ponderosa Pines with awe inspiring mountain views of true wilderness.

This house has 6000 square feet of luxury living with an additional 1000 square feet of decks and balconies on nearly 2 acres of canyon ridge property.

YOUR GUIDES
Kristin Goss & Emily Goode

Kristin is a lifelong lover of athletics and wellness, Kristin is aware of the benefits of yoga and meditation for the mind, body and spirit. She is a certified 500 RYT Yoga Alliance instructor, and has completed advanced studies in Rishikesh, India and Thailand, in both yoga and meditation styles. As part of her deep understanding and love of wellness, Kristin is also a certified Thai Masseuse studying at the Wat Po Temple in Bangkok, Thailand, where the tradition of Thai Massage originated.

Through the mindset of understanding one’s body and mind, she aims to restore through mindful movement, alignment, breath, and meditation.

In the field, Kristin teaches yoga and meditation classes, leads yoga retreats, teaches group yoga classes, corporate yoga classes, and private sessions.

Her passion and creativity in an entrepreneur spirit, led her to start her own wellness brand, DOGMA. A lifestyle brand leveraging the inspiration of hand-mades for the mind, body, and soul.  Check out her work at dogmasoul.com

Emily is a certified yoga instructor, meditation teacher, hiker and cyclist, guiding clients since 2019.  She is currently training in Nonviolent Communication, and her teaching is built upon practicing loving kindness to ourselves and others.

Emily is also CPR and Wilderness First Aid certified, is a certified trainer with the League of American Cyclists, and is active as a facilitator for personal and relational awareness in small group settings.

DEPOSIT

A $275 deposit (per person) is due at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable.

PAYMENTS

Final payment will be due August, 1 2022. You will receive a reminder email when this payment is due. Once made, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

CANCELLATIONS

By Client: If you need to cancel before the final payment date, the cancellation fee is your initial deposit. Your reservation will automatically cancel if final payment is not received by the due date.

By Fit 4 Adventure: In the event that we must cancel a trip for commercial reasons beyond our control, including if the minimum number of trip participants is not met, you will be able to transfer any amount paid toward any F4A trip in the next 24 months. You may also opt for a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee. 

By Force Majeure: In the event that a trip is cancelled due (but not limited) to natural disasters, pandemics, border restrictions, terrorism, or political instability, F4A will offer you a future trip credit valid for 24 months from the original trip date. 

F4A is not responsible for any additional expenses you may incur as result of your booking, including (but not limited to) visas, vaccinations, clothing, equipment, testing, travel insurance, or non-refundable flights. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE

The cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to. To avoid loss of payments due to unforeseen circumstances, travel insurance is highly recommended. Travel insurance can often be purchased along with your flight or you can book though our partner World Nomads.

*We at Fit 4 Adventure take the health and safety of our guests and guides seriously. We will follow all local protocols and CDC-recommended guidelines while on this trip.

DAY 1

Travel Day. All flights to arrive in Las Vegas (LAS) airport and we’ll have a scenic 4-5 hour drive to your final destination.

On the drive, we’ll enter Zion National Park in the late afternoon, the best time of day to soak in the sights of this unparalleled canyon. From the park, we travel through the historic mile-long Zion-Mt. Carmel tunnel just before arriving at our private mountain home. We’ll get settled before mingling over appetizers and dinner.

End your day with a peaceful yoga nidra meditation.

Yoga nidra:  Yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the"going-to-sleep" stage, typically induced by a guided meditation. Scientific evidence shows that yoga nidra helps to relieve stress, relaxes the mind and body to prep for a deep intentional sleep.

DAY 2

It’s kind of on everyone’s bucket list, right?  

Let’s explore the Heart of Zion and perhaps attempt the thrill-seeker climb up to Angel’s Landing (5.4 miles. Permit required for "chains" section of the hike).

After the hike, you will have free time to enjoy Zion lodge and the visitor’s center for trail maps and souvenirs.  

End the day with dinner and a Yoga Nidra meditation with neck massage.

DAY 3

Let's find that yin and yang with a day filled with yoga, meditations, wellness sessions, free time and more.

We'll start the day with a vinyasa yoga class (for all levels) before grazing over a healthy breakfast. Afterwards, we ease into the day exploring mindfulness, breath work, energy work, journaling, and other wellness modalities. You'll have plenty of breaks & free time on this day.

End the day with a sunset mingle and dinner. Don't forget about the hot tub under the stars!

Vinyasa: Vinyasa is a style that consists of flow from one pose connected with your breath.

Mindful movement yoga: A slow flow yoga guided with gentler movements to promote insight as to how we hold tension, move (or do not move) our bodies, and how we relate to the sensations in the body.

Wellness session: A group session where we will deepen understanding through a led meditation or exercise as it pertains to yoga, meditation, breathwork (pranayama) or other modalities.

Restorative yoga: gentle and slow movements holding poses for longer amounts of time with the use of props (cushions, blocks, blankets, etc.). Most poses will be on the ground.

DAY 4

Let's explore the  orange-hues of Bryce Canyon. We'll spend the first part of this day hiking the park with lunch on the trail. In lieu of hiking, a half-day horse backing riding tour is available upon request.

We'll head back to your retreat home for a nourishing yoga stretch and free time before dinner.

DAY 5

Grab breakfast and pack your lunch, this is your chance to explore The Narrows (8.1 miles/easy).

At the very end of Zion Canyon Road is where the Virgin River emerges from a deep, narrow canyon. On this unusual hike, the river itself is our trail as towering canyon walls grow taller and tighter around us. We will at times be hiking ankle, knee or waist deep in water. No technical skills required. This is a quintessential Zion experience and a spectacular life-list hike.

After the hike, we’ll explore the town of Springdale to shop and eat dinner. Afterwards, we'll head back to the house for our last night of mingling & stargazing.

DAY 6

Travel Day. It's not goodbye. It's... see you on the next adventure! Graze over breakfast before we head back to the Las Vegas airport. Please book flight departures around 2:30/3:00pm or later.

The trip was absolutely amazing! I’m sold on your company and the concept. Loved the hike plus yoga combo which is why I chose that trip. It helped that we had such a great group of women too - made such great friends with everyone. The property was also very nice and so comfortable. I already have recruits for next year’s trip and am thinking about the New Mexico or Montana trips next year. One of the best fitness vacays I’ve ever been on. Thank you!!!!
